Nick has over 25 years of executive management experience in addiction treatment and behavioral health care.
He was part of the Executive Management team that led transformative
business strategies at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in his role as CMO of the organization, Chief External Affairs Officer, and Publisher. Career highlights include: developing marketing, sales, call center, web and social marketing structures, strategies, and tactics that grew the Foundation’s treatment service’s revenue from $110M to $220M over a ten year period; and that grew Hazelden Publishing’s revenue from $12M to $21M over a seven year period. As CMO, he served on the executive team that executed the merger of Hazelden with the Betty Ford Institute and led the partnership with Emory Health to build a co-branded treatment facility in Atlanta, GA. As the head of Hazelden’s Publishing Division, he successfully launched multiple addiction treatment and recovery apps and curricula and successfully transitioned the organization from a print business model to a digital one.
